We are always striving to be better…hence we are changing our name from Rajapack to RAJA to take another step into the future. With this we also want to show that we belong to and are part of the largest packaging company in Europe.
RAJA, which has its origins in France, has, through progressive thinking, commitment and quality products, entered a tough industry and has been able to grow year after year and is today the strongest player in the market. However, we want to continue to grow and change, in a positive sense, and see this name change as taking us into the future.
By the way, the name RAJA goes back to the two founders of the company, Rachel Marcovici and Janine Rocher. Where the name is based on the first letters of the first names. The two enterprising women started selling used cardboard boxes in 1954, as they could then offer the market much cheaper cardboard boxes than their competitors. The result is the distribution company “Cartons RAJA”. The company is still family-owned today and the CEO, Daniéle Kapel-Mzarcovici, is the daughter of one of the founders.

The RAJA Group now unites all European branches, previously known as Rajapack, under one European brand – RAJA.
By changing the name from Rajapack to RAJA, we want to acknowledge and show our great community and cooperation between the different countries within our company. We also want to show, with a common company name, respect for the journey our company has made, where we started to the international position we sit on today.
