Charity Women and the Environment – 10 SEK is donated for each purchased partner product

Today is International Women’s Day, a day to appreciate and be inspired by the achievements of women and to reflect on the challenges that still remain today.

We celebrate the day by highlighting the important work that the RAJA group supports, all 365 days of the year. Since 2015, as a RAJA customer, you have been able to support the Women and the Environment charity, by purchasing selected partner products.

Women and Environment – how it works

The Women and the Environment charity is an action programme supported by the entire RAJA group, through the RAJA Daniéle Marcovici Foundation. Each year, we jointly select a number of projects around the world that are related to environmental challenges while aiming to help vulnerable women in various ways, such as through training, work programmes and grants.

We also select 10 environmentally friendly partner products from our range. Every time you buy one of the partner products, RAJA donates 10 SEK to the “Women and the Environment” projects.

The Foundation has been supporting women for 15 years

The RAJA-Daniéle Marcovici Foundation, the foundation behind the Women and the Environment initiative, was set up in France in 2006 and celebrated its 15th anniversary last year.

During these 15 years, the Foundation has helped build a future free from violence, injustice and inequality for more than 110,000 women in France and around the world. 576 projects in 56 countries have been supported and the Foundation has donated a total of €11 million. And now we want to be able to help more – the Foundation’s budget for 2022 has increased by a whopping 50%.
