A guide to Christmas gift wrapping

Christmas may still feel far away, but time is fast! Maybe it’s already time to start thinking about gift wrapping. There are many different solutions for those of you who need to wrap your products to send as gifts this Christmas. Gift wrapping is much more than just wrapping paper and gift string. Gift wrap and gift ties are your base

The foundation of good gift packaging is wrapping paper and gift ties. When it comes to wrapping paper, you can choose between bleached paper with print or natural kraft paper. There are several different colours and patterns available so you can find one that suits your products. Of course, we also offer wrapping paper with a Christmas motif. The Christmas paper is high quality and long lasting as the rolls are as long as 54 metres. We also offer wrapping paper with a more neutral look – check out our plain kraft gift wrap paper, for example.

Use gift wrap when you want to add a pop of colour or complement your chosen gift wrap. Our classic gift string is available in seven popular colours – choose from a shiny metallic or matt satin finish. Each roll has a ribbon that’s a full 250 metres long. Choose gift rosettes for a more festive look, or hemp laces for a more traditional look.

Dispensers for easy handling

Wrap a lot of parcels? Then increase productivity at the packing station by purchasing a dispenser. In RAJA’s range you will find dispensers for gift wrap paper – adapted for one roll or adapted for two rolls. You can also purchase a dispenser for gift wrap strings that are mounted on top. If you only need a dispenser for gift wrap, we recommend our wall-mounted dispenser for one roll, or our table-top dispenser that can hold two rolls of gift wrap and also a roll of tape.

Beautiful tissue paper enhances the experience

Fillers like tissue paper are important because they protect your products from bumps and damage – but they can also be decorative and help present your products in a better way. For a classic and clean look, use our standard white or brown tissue paper. If you want your package to pop with colour, choose our coloured tissue paper. You can get exactly the look you want because you can choose from 21 colours, all of which add a festive finish. Our tissue papers are environmentally friendly and made from chlorine- and acid-free paper.

Silk paper not for you? Wood wool is a filling material that is perfect for gift baskets as it protects while giving a cosy feeling of closeness to nature. Paper strips are another option. They consist of three layers of accordion-shaped paper strips and when you use this material in your gift boxes, they expand up to 280%, so you can be sure that your products are secure in the packaging. We offer paper strips in a variety of colours so you can choose between a neutral look or something more colourful.

Simplify and maximise with gift boxes

Make it easy for yourself this Christmas by choosing one of RAJA’s ready-made gift bags or gift boxes. Our heavy-duty lacquered gift bags are handy with self-adhesive closures so you can save on tape. The lacquer coating makes them extra shiny and they are available in three colours. You can also choose our gift bags made of smooth and glossy paper. If you want a more subdued or rustic feel, we recommend you choose our eco-friendly option – gift bags made from recyclable kraft paper. If you’re looking for a box, we recommend our matte gift boxes with magnetic closure – they come in a range of sizes, choose from natural brown or coloured (white, black or red).

Make your own poison basketball

If you want to compose your own gift baskets, it is perfect to use our gift baskets in black or natural finish. Fill the basket with your choice of filler and your chosen gifts, and don’t forget to wrap your gift basket in cellophane. Send a wine bottle as a gift?

What is the best way to gift wrap one or more bottles of wine or champagne? We at the packaging company RAJA have the answer. We have gift packaging made from recycled mini cardboard that is specially adapted for wine bottles. Choose from brown corrugated cardboard or coloured boxes. You’ve chosen wrapping paper, gift string and tissue paper, or you’re using a ready-made gift bag or box – and now we’re at the final stage: carrier bags. Completing your gift wrapping with carrier bags is not a must – but it can be something that ties the look together and adds that little extra to the presentation. A classic go-to in the gifting context is lacquered carrier bags – a safe bet if you’re after a glossy and elegant finish. We also have matt lacquered carrier bags. They come in a variety of sizes and colours so you’ll be able to find a version that’s perfect for your products. Take a special look at our kraft paper bags if the environment is important to you – here you can choose between bags with twisted handles and bags with flat handles.
