how do we ensure the safety of your customers and staff during the coronavirus pandemic?
what types of masks are available?
FFP1 and FFP2 category masks are the masks recommended by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs for professionals in contact with the virus and vulnerable groups. They protect the mask wearer against the inhalation of airborne particles that may contain infectious agents.
But for the rest of the population, alternative masks for non-healthcare use, called “barrier masks”, are recommended, e.g. 3-layer surgical masks. These masks are safer because they are easier to wear, i.e. people who are not used to wearing them and trained to wear them are less likely to touch their faces.

The reusable face mask is an additional supplement to achieve a full protection effect in addition to face masks, as the coronavirus is spread through droplets that can enter the nose, mouth and eyes.
what gloves should be used to prevent the spread of the virus?
Both latex powdered gloves and disposable nitrile gloves are good options to have available for customers and employees. The difference between them is that latex powdered gloves are easier to put on and take off, although they are not recommended for handling food.
Whether you have gloves or not, use a hydroalcoholic hand gel whenever possible. This will remove traces of the virus on the surface of the gloves or hands. If you have a shop or receive visits from customers and/or suppliers, provide gel dispensers at the reception or entrance to your shop. Also make it available for carriers and delivery people to use before and after each delivery.
A “little extra” to go one step further: the infrared thermometer
For an additional safety process you can have an infrared thermometer to measure the temperature of all persons entering your premises, warehouse or shop, to ensure that no one with this characteristic COVID-19 symptom will put other people at risk.

As you know, one of the essential barrier gestures to prevent the spread of the virus is to respect the 2-metre safety distance.
These products can help you to ensure that it is respected between your employees and customers:

- Protective cardboard partition, protective plexiglass panel or transparent perspex partition are particularly effective in separating workstations and preventing the emission of droplets that can potentially contain the virus.
