On the occasion of International Women’s Rights Day on 8 March, the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation has invited all members of the Raja Group in Europe to take part in an initiative consisting of a week of mobilisation in favour of women‘s rights, based on a “pedometer operation”, the aim of which is to reach 15 million steps in one week among all members of the RAJA Groupthe aim of this operation is to reach 15 million steps in one week among all the people of the RAJA Group. This initiative aims to support the LIFE PROJECT 4 YOUTH ASSOCIATION (LP4Y), which helps young mothers in the slums of Manila in the Philippines and Jakarta in Indonesia to build a better life project through training programmes that combine academic learning and small business development
the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation aims to support activities aimed at women in various fields, such as education, social, medical or cultural; its main interest is to collaborate in any action or initiative that promotes the social and professional advancement of women
upon reaching the 15 million steps target, the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation will donate €15,000 to the LP4Y association on behalf of all RAJA Group employees. The counting of the steps started on March 3rd and will end on March 5th. The announcement of the results of all subsidiaries will be made at the Raja Group head office. These results will be announced by Danièle Kapel-Marcovici in the presence of representatives of the LP4Y association.
