RAJA® donates packaging to various associations in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic

As the pandemic of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to affect the whole world, companies and individuals are trying to support the cause in any way they can.
RAJA® has always believed in corporate responsibility and more so in emergency situations like the one we are experiencing right now, so we have thought about how to contribute to the cause and have decided to do so with a collaboration with Farmacias Trébol who are at the bottom of the barrel giving the best possible service despite the circumstances.
The donation was sent on Tuesday from our subsidiary in Ripollet and arrived in Madrid within 24 hours.
why Farmacias Trébol?
Farmacias Trébol is a company with more than 40 pharmacies distributed all over Spain, and they also sell online.
The pharmaceutical sector continues to work despite the state of alarm to be able to supply all the people who need their services, from RAJA® we want to thank the great dedication of the staff, who working these days are exposed to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Farmacias Trébol, from its headquarters in Madrid, distributes both to its pharmacies and to the final customer.
Due to home confinement, online orders have soared, many people choose to do so to avoid risking contracting the disease, to reward their social work we decided to send them 5 pallets of boxes with instant assembly and adhesive closure, these boxes are very easy to assemble to facilitate the task of sending packages, 4,000 boxes with which they can be faster and more efficient in their shipments.
We donated 120 adhesive tapes to the LibreGuard project

After the government’s announcement on total confinement, we have decided to continue to support projects that will help us to stop the virus. This time we have decided to support the LibreGuard project.
what is the LibreGuard project?
It is a collaborative project initiated by the Coudre studio and Coda BarcelonaTech, they design, produce and distribute 3D printed masks for healthcare workers.
- These masks are fast to produce (they are printed in 80 seconds)
- They are very cheap (20 cents).
- The assembly is easy and fast (about 2 minutes)
- The cleaning is also quick and safe as the structure is reusable and the front is disposable.
With the donation of our double-sided adhesive tapes the design will be improved by giving a superior reinforcement between the frame and the front.
We donate 200 recycled kraft bags to the Santiago Masarnau Reception and Integration Centre in Madrid

The Santiago Masarnau Shelter and Integration Centre of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul was created to care for homeless people and currently offers a wide range of services, such as training workshops, canteen and food, social care, health and legal assistance, employment guidance…
With the COVID-19 crisis, they continue to provide care to these people without resources, attending to an average of 100 people/day. Due to the security measures of the pandemic, their dining room has had to close to the public but as an alternative, they prepare and deliver food to people’s homes.
They contacted us through our Facebook, @Rajapack.es, asking for our collaboration with food packaging or any type of packaging that would make it easier for them to deliver the food safely to the homes of the people in need. And so we did! We collaborated with 200 recycled kraft bags that we hope with all our heart will help them to move forward.
We donated 500 boxes to the Bread and Fish Foundation
Update 22/04/2020
The Bread and Fish Foundation, before the State of Alarm declared by the Coronavirus crisis, distributed food to 800 families without resources in the Madrid neighbourhood of Chamberí.
Now face-to-face food delivery is more complicated, so they had to close… until they managed to contact several volunteers and Bomberos Unidos to create a network where they could deliver food at home. It was at this stage when they decided to contact us through our social networks, they needed 500 cardboard boxes to put the food they wanted to donate. Without hesitation, we provided them with what they needed.

we have donated 1000 boxes to the social movement #COVIDAMAKERS so that they can continue to send 3D protective screens that they make themselves.
This non-profit organisation has already distributed more than 60,000 screens and they plan to manufacture 200,000 units!

The Red Cross is doing an exceptional job in this coronavirus crisis, that’s why we wanted to donate 1000 units of the CAD53ES reference. They use our boxes for food distribution.

RAJA® Spain against the coronavirus
We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that despite the current circumstances, we are 100% operational to attend to your orders and queries.
Our sales and customer service team is working remotely to provide you with answers through our usual channels: telephone, email, chat and social networks. In addition, our website is fully operational.
We have also implemented preventive measures to guarantee, as always, the stock of packaging that you may need. And although the situation is exceptional, and as long as the conditions allow it, we will try to meet our delivery time of 24/48 hours in mainland Spain.
However, we would like to inform you that since last Friday we are no longer attending visitors in our Showroom, and we have disabled the option of collection at our facilities, Click&Collect.
We hope that the situation will be restored as soon as possible and we would like to thank you for your trust!
