Packaging for caterings serving in medicalised hotels

During these days, we have been doing a lot of deliveries to medicalised hotels, so we decided to analyse what is happening with our packaging.

We have contacted one of our clients called Arcasa Apetito, they are a company that supplies V range food products and they design specific food solutions for clients in the health sector, hotels, schools, leisure… We have asked them about the lunch, snack and dinner service they provide to these medicalised hotels and they have explained that they use our postal boxes to deliver food to COVID-19 patients.

why use postal boxes as food trays?

According to a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine, the virus can survive up to 3 days on surfaces such as plastic or steel, but only 1 day on boxes.

Therefore, delivering food in boxes is an alternative that is not only EcoResponsible, but also safer for anyone who comes into contact with them throughout the food delivery and collection process.
