Kraft paper is an eco-friendly packaging solution with many utilities and advantages: It is easy to recycle, comes from sustainable resources, is easy to use and reduces your company’s carbon footprint, which will help your customers perceive your company values with a unique unpacking experience. So why choose plastic materials to protect your products when there is a 100% recyclable and more environmentally friendly option? Companies are starting to embrace a green and plastic-free future. Kraft paper also reduces damage, quick to use (because you don’t have to wait for it to inflate) and saves space in the warehouse as it takes up much less space than any other air-filled packaging

Wraps your products | It offers protection against minor incidents during handling. It also has a natural look that is very aesthetically pleasing. |
► why use kraft paper for protection in a package?
kraft paper is 100% renewable, recyclable, biodegradable, space-saving and economical
-
It comes from renewable materials
paper comes from a 100% renewable material: wood. Contrary to popular belief, paper does NOT destroy forests because the paper industry uses only wood by-products such as wood waste or, on the other hand, uses trees from sustainably managed forests. We explain how a sustainable forest works: When a tree is cut down, the trunk is used to generate wood and the branches that are cut to keep the trees healthy and the waste from the sawmills are used to make paper. If you want to know if the paper or cardboard comes from a sustainable forest, look for the PEFC or FSC labels
-
Recyclable
did you know that more than 50% of paper manufactured in Europe is made from recycled materials? A recent report says that only 24% of Europe’s plastic was collected for recycling in 2012, compared to 71.7% for paper. A recent report (by Plastics Recyclers Europe, PRE) has shown that in 2012 only 24% of Europe’s plastics were collected for recycling, a figure that is “no longer acceptable”. For paper the recycling rate is 71.7%. Nine out of ten consumers would choose paper packaging over other materials. Recycling plays an important role in the sustainability of the paper cycle
-
Biodegradable
paper decomposes quickly, leaving no trace of toxic materials as plastic does, and does so much more quickly
-
Takes up little space
while plastic as protection takes up a lot of space in a warehouse because it has to be inflated (as with bubble wrap) or is too thick (as with foam), paper is simply a sheet of foil that only has to be crumpled up to protect a package. You can store much more in less space

► how to use kraft paper for safe protection?
kraft paper can be applied manually or with machines. The system is simple, you have to crumple and fill the spaces in the box so that the object is fixed. There are systems to do it manuallybut if your cadences are large, we recommend the use of machines, first you should know that the converters make a more industrial type filling and the filling production systems make a filling more suitable for ecommerce. Here you have a small guide to know which is the most suitable machine for your company
