How to offer added value with packaging

3min read 24/02/2015

  • A personalised box: Yes, it is not the same to receive a simple, plain box as a box with your brand, your slogan or even a printed promotion. There are an infinite number of solutions created for different companies and, without a doubt, it represents another way of presenting yourself to your customer
    • P.S. Please don’t reuse boxes, it’s too obvious and it looks bad.
  • Personalised adhesive tape: Just like the box, personalisation is more than present in adhesive tapes. Many of them offer a message linked to that of the personalised box. They are very affordable and make a great impression when they are received
    • P.S. Don’t use too much tape – if you want to tape up the holes in the boxes, it might be worth doing the math and getting a new box.

  • Padding and protection: Offering security is not incompatible with presentation. What’s more, a poorly protected order will probably not arrive with the best presentation. Use resources such as tissue paper or air bags for protection. Each product has a suitable padding. Contact our sales staff if you have any doubts
    • P.S.: Too much padding protects just as well as the right amount of padding. Putting extra padding can also give a bad impression. Perhaps it is better to buy a box the size of the product and not fill the empty spaces with padding.

  • Labels and envelopes: Undoubtedly the touch of elegance. Imagine your customer’s face if they receive a crumpled invoice in the middle of its packaging or if they receive it in a printed and personalised envelope. The perceived experience is much greater and, surely, the memory will be much more positive
    • Even if there are labels left over from past promotions, please do not reuse them.

  • Don’t forget that a few more elements can add a distinctive touch to the packaging: customisable bags, ribbons and bows, tissue paper or kraft paper– every product has a wide variety of packaging to which you can add extra value.

we remind you that price is not everything. Offering customer security and good service are factors that, depending on the sector, are much more important than the price itself. The user experience is a journey that begins and ends well beyond the moment of purchase. It is up to you to choose what kind of memory you want your customer to have of you. We are there to advise you whenever you need it.
