We love to share feedback from customers who trust us and this time we bring the case of Huboo, a British company that was installed in Spain in 2021, and offers fulfillment solutions for eCommerce.
Huboo’s model consists of micro-hubsor “mini-stores”, so that customers have at their disposal a space designated to their brand. In other words, your products are concentrated in a specific area under the responsibility of a Hub Manager, who knows your products perfectly and offers a personalised service. In this way, Huboo stores, selects and prepares the packages for the eCommerce companies it works with, making it easier for them to focus on growing their business. And all this with great efficiency. “We have a picking accuracy rate of 99.97%,” says Samy Soage, Operations Support Manager at Huboo.
The parent company in the UK now has five logistics centres, with further openings planned across the European Union. The one in Spain, located in Madrid, has more than 8,200 square metres.
For RAJA®, working with Huboo and being their packaging supplier is a challenge, because they are a logistics partner that works with many different eCommerce companies. So we took advantage of one of our visits to their headquarters in Madrid to ask Samy Soage, Operations Support Manager, to tell us about the process of choosing the right packaging in each case and what aspects they would highlight in their relationship with RAJA®.
Your customers include eCommerce from many sectors, what criteria do you take into account when choosing the right packaging and how important is the packaging to offer a good service to your customers?
At Huboo we handle logistics for thousands of companies with products of all kinds. Normally, the goods tend to have a very high turnover, such as cosmetics, electronics, toys, stationery, vitamins, alcoholic beverages, etc. When these products are fragile, the importance of packaging comes into play, as it depends on the order arriving in good condition and the customer’s final assessment .
Packaging is a fundamental part of the consumer experience and, therefore, is reflected in customer loyalty. At Huboo, this is something we have internalised to a great extent, which is why Hub Managers receive specialised training in packaging.
