What is the size of your pallets?
To choose the right pallet truck for your needs, you should think about the type of goods your operators will be transporting on it.
This is important because the length of the pallet must be longer than the forks to prevent the ends of the pallet from sticking out and damaging other loads or pallets.

For what type of surface?
The type of wheels is also a deciding factor when selecting one pallet truck model or another. This element allows you to determine the type of wheels that are best suited to the working environment.
- Polyurethane wheels do not stain and are suitable for sensitive and more delicate floors.

¿ Which pallet truck ensures operator safety?
It is essential toprovide the company with mechanisation tools that facilitate the work and avoid risks to its employees.
For example, a pallet truck allows access to goods without bending down, but there are other risks and considerations to take into account, so make sure that your pallet truck has:
- A safety valve, to indicate possible overloading
- A safety system tobrake or lift loads

Tips on how to use the hand pallet truck:
- Do not use the pallet truck in places with steep ramps or unstable or uneven surfaces.
- Respect the maximum capacity indicated on the pallet truck.
- Reduce the load if it requires more effort than the manoeuvrability of the operator who is going to use it and avoid overexertion.
- If you are going to use the pallet truck on a forklift or lifting platform, make sure beforehand that it is possible to use it and that it supports the load capacity.
- Make sure that the load is perfectly balanced and stable, and make sure that it remains so throughout the entire route.
- Follow the maintenance rules indicated on the pallet truck to ensure its correct operation over time.
- Signpost in your warehouse where to park the pallet trucks and visibly remind them of their conditions of use.
