The RAJA Group is headquartered in the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation, which was established in 2006 and develops activities to support the emancipation of women and girls worldwide.

The main mission of the Foundation

Themain mission of the Foundation is to support projects in favour of the empowerment of women and girls. This action falls into four priority areas of intervention:

• Combating violence against women and girls,
• education and leadership for women,
• professional integration and women’s economic rights,
• women’s action for the environment.

The Foundation has also created an emergency fund to support associations whose needs are of priority and immediate concern.

The second mission of the Foundation is to mobilize RAJA Group employees through the RAJAPeople program. This program allows our employees to get involved with the Foundation, participate in various events and raise awareness of the projects in question.

Another mission is to raise awareness and inform about overcoming inequalities. As the inequalities and violence suffered by women are often misunderstood and ignored, the Foundation wants to contribute to making their voices heard. It also wants to highlight the urgency and need to mobilise civil society.

The Foundation conducts events to raise awareness of women’s issues with different types of audiences. It shares its expertise and promotes the exchange of experiences based on the results of the projects it supports in order to improve the effectiveness of actions in this area and to contribute to the dissemination of lessons learned. To this end, it establishes partnerships with other foundations, players in the financial sector and institutional players.

Projects supported

In 16 years, the Foundation has supported 576 projects led by 312 associations, i.e. more than 110,000 beneficiaries in 56 countries, with a total budget of more than 11 million euros.

It is also possible for us to contribute and support these projects by purchasing so-called partner products. With every purchase of a package from this offer, €1 is donated to the foundation. The Foundation will then use the money raised to support the selected projects.
