RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation was created to support women around the world. The Foundation supports projects of associations that defend women’s rights and strive to improve their living conditions.

Briefly about the Foundation

Founded in 2006 by Danièle Kapel-Marcovici, President and CEO of the RAJA Group, and under the auspices of the Fondation de France, the Foundation supports projects in France and around the world.

The Foundation supports projects in four main areas:

– combating violence against women

– girls’ leadership training

– professional integration and economic and social rights

– women’s action for the environment

The Foundation also conducts promotional and awareness-raising activities in close cooperation with its partners. It further supports the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations to eradicate poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all.

Summary of the mostôof the most important achievements for 2022

In 2022, the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation funded more than 110 projects with visible results:

♀️ 130,912 women victims of violence supported by the organization’s funds,

8,494 young girls enrolled in school,

880 vocational training and employment coaching provided,

6,949 women supported in their environmental activities.

What Danièle Kapel-Marcovici, founder and president of the Foundation, has to say

“I founded the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation 16 years ago to express my commitment to standing up for women and girls and to support those who work on the front line to defend their rights,” says Danièle Kapel-Marcovici, CEO of the RAJA Group, founder and chairwoman of the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation.

“We launched our first call for projects in 2006 and funded 9 charities. We are still contributing to these and many other organisations today. In 2022, the Foundation funded 110 projects in favour of women and girls, bringing the total value of our donations since 2006 to over 15 million euros,” she adds.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have worked so hard to help the Foundation fulfil its core mission and promote equality between women and men,” thanks Danièle Kapel-Marcovici.

As môHow can you support the Foundation?

The RAJA Group launched the “Women and the Environment” programme in 2015. By purchasing selected eco-friendly products, you support this programme.

And how does it all work? The RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation selects the associated projects to be supported. The RAJA Group selects the products, part of the money from the purchase of which will be donated to support these projects. For every package of products so marked that is purchased, €1 is donated to the Foundation. The Foundation will then use the money raised to support the selected projects.
