1. Is filling paper the solution for your company?
Corrugated or corrugated cardboard, brown or white, tissue paper, kraft paper… Within the paper filling family there are therefore many options. Thus, paper filler is generally used for two things:
► Firstly to fill the empty spaces in a box: your products will stay fixed. You should therefore use single layer kraft paper.
►S econdly for cushioning: ideal for transporting the most fragile products. You should therefore use multilayer kraft paper.
2. The five benefits of filling paper
Above all, paper adds immediate value to your packaging: ecological, natural and safe.
Because of its natural origin, paper is easier to recycle. In addition, almost all RAJA filler paper is made from recycled materials.
At the same time, the filling paper is always anti-static, containing no acid or chlorine. This makes it best suited for protecting printed documents or photographs. In addition, it is also corrosion resistant. Very useful if you have to wrap metal parts.
As a result and due to its versatility, filler paper adapts perfectly to your products, whether small or large. In other words, it is easy to handle.
The paper is also safe because it can cover even the sharpest objects without tearing them. However, air cushions can tear and deflate, causing them to lose their effect.
3. Get more benefits from filling paper with a machine
►Save time: with a filling machine you can make your own filling paper whenever you want, without having to rely on a supplier. So you don’t waste any time – a paper filling machine produces up to 84 m of filling paper per minute. It is ideal to further increase your productivity.
► Sa ve space: a paper pack for a filling machine is very compact. Whereas you can fill up to 30 tubs with two packs of filling paper. At the same time, this leaves a lot more space in your company’s warehouse and you can use it to store other additional products.
You have various packaging machines and systems available for rent, which makes a large investment unnecessary. Therefore, making your own filling material is the best way to reduce your packaging costs. Call 707 788 008 to request a free trial.

Manual system FillPak M ► Filling of empty spaces
For example, this manual system adapts to any packaging table. At first pull the pre-cut paper in a gentle movement through the FillPak M funnel. The result is a perfectly folded filling paper that allows you to fill gaps in a box and secure your products. It is also height adjustable. As well as very light (4 kg) and easy to install on a packing table.
FillPak machines ► Fills inempty spaces
With these systems, you can automatically produce up to 1.4 m of filler paper per minute (in the form of single-sheet folded paper). With the foot pedal, you can easily control the production speed. In this way, your hands will always be free and this will make your work much easier.
PadPak machines ► Absorb shocks
Ranpak systems are a little different from what we have seen so far: they do not produce ‘folded’ filling paper, but only ‘compressed’. So this form allows you to absorb shocks better and your (more fragile) products will be very well protected. Without doubt, the more layers of paper the cushion has, the better its protection . All in all and within the PadPak family of machines, RAJA offers a selection of these 4 models:

WrapPak Protector Converter ► Fills gapsand absorbs shocks
Above all, this is undoubtedly the most suitable solution within the paper machine families. The Wrappak protector was developed to meet the two main needs of packaging: filling the empty space in a box and protecting it from shocks. To this end, this machine produces filling paper in a new and unique way.
5. There are other variants of paper fillers!
ProfiPack HSM packaging filling machine ► Recycle yourused cardboard
Do you find piles of used cardboard in your warehouse every day? You can give them a second life and turn them into filling paper with a cardboard perforator. Even small metal parts, such as staples, are not a problem. Among RAJA’s board perforators you can choose between two models: the tabletop model (for single corrugated board) or the wheeled model (for single, double or triple corrugated board).
Geami WrapPak ► The most original way to wrap
With this system, you can combine two packaging materials: tissue paper and kraft paper. The soft tissue paper provides a colourful finish and protects against scratches. On the other hand, it protects your products from shocks. Due to its unique shape (with a honeycomb pattern), kraft paper releases smoothly, making tape unnecessary. Both papers exit the system at the same time and guarantee a very fast wrapping.
