What is foam foam and what is it used for?
At the outset, foam foam can be made of polyethylene and polyurethane. It is obtained by joining these materials and a gas that is injected under pressure during its manufacturing process.
Its main advantages and the reason why it is so often used is because it is light and can be produced in different densities and gauges. It is mainly used as packaging filler, as its main function is to wrap the products. In the same way, it also protects them, safeguarding them from possible shocks that may occur. In addition, it also secures the products, as it fills the inside of the boxes that contain them.
What types of foam foam are there?
Differences between polyethylene and polyurethane:
For example, before buying foam foam, you must know which material is ideal for protecting your products. In this sense, the main materials used are polyethylene and polyurethane, and they are easily differentiated with a simple touch:
- Polyethylene is rigid and hard.
- Polyurethane is smooth and soft.
