• Take care of the proportions – compositions with a lot of flowers, but at the same time with some free space, look best. Ensure that the plants stick out from behind the edges of the box.
• Match the colours – make a two- or three-colour flower box. This is enough to achieve beautiful results.
• Choose fresh flowers – this will prolong the life of the plants.
• Limit the species of plants – follow a similar principle to the choice of colours. You only need 2-3 types of flowers to create a phenomenal composition.
• Complete the arrangement with greenery, which goes well with any flower box.
• Water systematically – you can do this with a syringe or a spoon. Gently soak a florist sponge in water every day.
• Store the flower box in suitable conditions – place the flower box away from the heater.

Fill the box. Cut the flowers at a slant and remove the lower leaves. The former will make the stems absorb water better and the latter will prevent the plants from rotting. Place the flowers in a sponge – carefully but securely. It is up to you whether you want the bouquet to have an even height or a strong centre and lower sides. 1. Attach the sweets to the candy sticks or wires – using sticky tape or hot glue.
