How to wrap a Christmas parcel?

2min read 14/11/2018

The run-up to Christmas is a hectic time for online shop staff. During this time, lots of people order Christmas parcels, wanting to minimise the time spent in shop queues. Gifts are not only ordered for loved ones and family – before Christmas, employers are also preparing gifts for their employees. Both employers and employees should think about decorative Christmas wrapping, so that gifts – whether ordered online or prepared by the employer – are not only safe, but also attractive!

Decorative paper and colourful boxes – ideal for Christmas gifts

The simplest ways of wrapping gifts often turn out to be the best. Placing the gift in a cardboard box and wrapping it with decorative paper is an idea for a nicely wrapped package for Christmas. In our shop, you can find gift paper with festive motifs for children, in elegant patterns such as stripes or geometric motifs or plain and colourful, in a striking glossy version. The choice should depend on the type of gift and the recipient. The Christmas package, wrapped in plain paper, can also be tied with a colourful ribbon to create a symmetrical bow in the centre.

Christmas packages – in a minimalist setting

Christmas gifts do not always have to catch the eye with shiny or patterned packaging. For those who prefer a minimalist design, a gift wrapped in a classic brown paper bag or a box in the same colour may be more appealing. This type of packaging is practical and versatile, as it can be reused to wrap a gift for another occasion, and is also environmentally friendly as it is usually made from recycled materials. If you want to additionally expose the contents of the package, you can reach for a brown bag with a transparent window. This allows you to quickly see the contents of the bag and gives it an elegant appearance.

Coloured fillers – a must for Christmas packaging

Christmas packages for employees often contain food products in glass containers. To protect them from damage and destruction, it is advisable to pack them in a box or gift basket and then fill the interior with coloured filler. This way, the products will be safe and will be handed over to the recipient in a stylish package. Gift baskets can also be wrapped in transparent foil and tied with a coloured ribbon. The same goes for spirits – preferably wrapped in a sturdy cardboard box made of thick plastic and filled with filler.
