How to package wine for a gift?

3min read 07/12/2018

Christmas is getting closer and closer, and with it the sending of gifts, for example to a company’s business partners. A bottle (or several) of good wine is a versatile and very practical gift that will be a nice addition to your Christmas wishes. Rajapack offers innovative wine shipping cartons and decorative packaging, perfect for these and many other occasions.

Wine shipping cartons

Glasses often break in transit, so packaging that protects wine bottles well from damage is key. In addition, the carton should not only be robust, but have a quick and secure closure, be easy to assemble and be aesthetically pleasing. Rajapack has a range of wine cart ons that meet all these criteria, with versions capable of packing 1, 2, 6 or even 12 bottles. All Rajapack cartons are manufactured from high-quality corrugated cardboard and covered with aesthetically pleasing brown kraft paper. The range includes cartons with dividers in which the bottles stand upright, a version completely suitable for courier shipping (covered with 5-ply heavy-duty cardboard) and an economy version, ideal for storing and more carefully transporting wine. If you are shipping 2 bottles, you can also use a postal carton in which the bottles lie horizontally, also available in two versions: the standard and the specially reinforced, extra-strong Rigibox.

Wine decorative packaging

When the gift is 1, 2 or a maximum of 3 bottles of wine, it is worth using more aesthetic packaging, which is especially important if you are giving the gift in person. Products from Rajapack also include a wide range of decorative packaging for wine. In addition to plain paper bags, the range includes high-gloss lacquered wine bags, decorative, colourful paper packaging or packaging made of coated cardboard, as well as robust paper bags with a window and a signature card. Wine packaging with a window and handle (for 2 or 3 bottles) is also an interesting option, for example wine packaging made of coated paperboard in burgundy with a stylish lizard skin effect. If you want to add something else to your wine, a deep wine case that can hold the filling and additional trinkets, or decorative cardboard wine cases with a handle are practical solutions.

Stand out with detail: bottle decoration and printing on the wine shipping carton

When the question of aesthetics is particularly important and a larger number of bottles are to be shipped, it is worth thinking about elegantly filling the carton or decorating the individual bottles – for example with ribbons, decorative tissue paper, paper or letterhead, or extra bags for each bottle. Personalising the cartons can also be a good and simple idea. Rajapack offers the possibility of individual printing on the cartons, for example including company logos, Christmas and other occasional motifs, greetings and the like.
