Ecological recycled packaging

3min read 29/05/2019

The ever-increasing amount of waste produced by society is one of the most serious threats to the environment and, consequently, to people themselves. One of the measures that can be taken to deal with this pressing problem is recycling, which is the recovery of used materials for reuse.

Recycling is a multi-step process, the main aim of which is to reuse waste and thus reduce its volume.

At the heart of successful recycling is the proper segregation of waste and the selection of those that can be transformed into new products instead of going to landfill.

Materials such as paper, glass, wood, plastics and other plastics (PP, PET) and metals – including steel and aluminium – can be reused.

Some recyclable materials (e.g. steel) can be recycled practically indefinitely, others (e.g. paper or cardboard) can be recycled several times until they are completely used up and lose their properties.

What does the cardboard recycling process look like? Check it out in the graphic below:

Consistent recovery of secondary raw materials makes a significant contribution to reducing the consumption of non-renewable natural resources, whose resources are gradually dwindling.

More specifically, recovering one tonne of plastic saves 700 to 800 kg of oil.

Recycled and recyclable packaging

At Rajapack, we work with respect for the common good that is the environment around us.

Very many of the products in our range are made from recycled materials and can be recycled again after use. Which means reducing the negative impact on the environment.

Recycled paper from recycled material collections can be used for solutions such as cardboard boxes and cartons, wrapping paper, paper bags, parcel fillers, cardboard corners and angles and paper tapes, all of which are available in our online shop. Therefore, by choosing products from our range, you are simultaneously taking care of the environment.

The “Flo-pak green” fillers we offer, which are indispensable for filling empty spaces in cardboard boxes, are made of biodegradable polystyrene, which is entirely recycled.

The use of eco-friendly raw materials reduces the consumption of natural resources, while not affecting the quality or functionality of the products in any way. You can be assured that by choosing our eco-friendly products, you are not sacrificing the high quality of the items you purchase.

By using recycled packaging in your business, you do not incur additional costs or inconvenience and can do something really good for the environment with minimal effort
