Bottle packaging – how to wrap alcohol for a gift?

Many people give alcohol as a gift to friends and family or as a business present. How should alcohol be packaged as a gift in order to make it look good and attractive?

With winter and the holidays approaching, it is time to think about gifts, especially business gifts. What should you give your customers and business partners to thank them for their cooperation over the past year? A bottle of good liquor would be a very good solution, but how to pack the alcohol nicely?

Alcohol as a gift – is it a good idea?

Alcohol is a popular gift, but is it really a good idea? Yes, it is a safe gift and you can give it, except if you know that someone doesn’t drink alcohol – then it really won’t be a good gift. On the other hand, if someone doesn’t drink alcohol but the giver doesn’t know about it, it’s not a gaffe – you can always pass the alcohol on or use it at a party.

Of course, it is very important that it is good alcohol, rather high-end, e.g. a good wine/whisky/cognac, or perhaps a set of fine craft beers or champagne, with which the recipient can make a New Year’s toast. Gift chosen, but how to package the alcohol for the gift?

How to pack wine – decorative packaging for alcohol

The RAJA shop offers a large selection of packaging for bottles, i.e.: traditional packaging – paper wine bags, eco-friendly, windowed, high-gloss, as well as more sophisticated – lizard skin effect packaging, grained textured boxes – including Lezard with lizard skin effect, Hevea packaging made of strong microwave, wine baskets and cases, as well as presentation and carrying boxes for 1, 2 or 3 bottles, with cut-out handles. Wine in elegant packaging looks really good and is a gift that will please most people.

An eye-catching gift filler – such as coloured or natural SizzlePak or plain tissue paper – can be added to the inside of the packaging. This will make the wine look even more special and keep it safe.

How to pack beer for a gift?

If you know that someone is a beer lover, you can gift him or her with a special set of craft beers. There are special boxes for packaging beers – a carton for 8 0.33 litre bottles or a carton for 6 or 12 traditional bottles. Their additional advantage is their protective function, as these boxes are made of strong 5-ply cardboard. The carton for 8 bottles is very practical – it can be converted into a tasting stand. The caton with the beers can then be wrapped in decorative paper or placed in a tasteful gift bag.

How to pack alcohol for a gift in an original way?

If one is creative, one may be tempted to wrap alcohol in a less traditional way. There are many ideas – you can sew or knit or crochet clothes for the bottle or dress the bottle up with a scarf and hat – especially in winter, or you can wrap it in a decorative bag, in tulle or other material instead of paper. You can also decorate just the neck of the bottle with flowers or Christmas decorations, for example. And if you want to give someone self-made alcohol, you can pour it into fancy bottles – such a bottle is original packaging in itself.

Christmas is getting closer and closer, so it’s a really good time to plan gifts, especially business gifts. How to wrap gifts? Check out this guide and find out what gift wrapping to choose.
