You may have noticed; green and not least good alternatives are still appearing in the packaging world and they must if we are to keep up with today’s developments. Here we present two innovative product innovations that can help you on your way to more environmentally friendly packaging: the cardboard macerator and the air cleaning machine.

Product news 2: Air cleaning machine

Our latest innovation is an old packaging favourite in a new guise; the air purifier

99% air – 100% efficiency!

At first glance, RAJA Air may look like an ordinary air purifier, and it is. Many may think that air purifiers are not necessarily an environmentally friendly alternative, but if we take a closer look and compare it with paper fill, maybe air purifiers are not so bad after all?

Air pouches are 99% air and 1% plastic.

You get a lot of packing per roll with film which again leaves a smaller environmental footprint in shipping compared to for example kraft paper – just because of the weight.

“But it’s still plastic?”

This is where RAJA Air hits the big time and gives the possibility of air bags made of kraft paper! The best of both worlds – it’s still 99% air, but 1% plastic is replaced with 1% recycled kraft paper. We look forward to bringing these into our range.

But RAJA Air doesn’t stop impressing there. Should you still need air bags made of plastic, the machine can be distinguished with air bags made of the following:

Recycled plastic film (polyethylene)

Biodegradable film – produced from 35% potash starch and 65% biodegradable plastic (PBAT) which must be sorted with food waste depending on where you live in the country. We recommend checking local info on waste treatment.

In addition, it naturally takes ordinary plastic film of HD polyethylene (PE-LD). All the types mentioned are available in different variants so that you can easily adapt it to your packaging.
