1. Save time

The phrase “time is money” is something you hear all the time, and there’s something to it. Time is of great importance to many businesses. This can include in-store realities where packages need to be packed quickly and shipped to the customer. For online retailers with short lead times, it’s also necessary to streamline the packaging process. An important element in this process is the choice of packaging. At RAJA, we offer a selection of products that can help you save time in the warehouse.
One of our most popular examples is the automatic bottom tray. What makes these special is that the trays are easily assembled by a light push on the sides. The bottom of the tray does not require packing tape and the trays are ready to assemble in 9 seconds. A standard cardboard tray takes closer to 22 seconds to assemble. These few seconds can have a big impact on the packing process in a warehouse where many trays are assembled during the day. A quick calculation: if a warehouse worker packs 250 trays a day, a whole hour of work is saved by using automatic bottom trays.
Other good examples are packaging with self-adhesive closures. Within this category there are both e-commerce bags and cardboard boxes. When using this type of packaging you don’t spend time taping with separate packaging tape since the box already has an adhesive strip integrated.
A final example of packaging that saves time is perforated packaging. Both bubble wrap and foam wrap can be used here. When you choose perforated packaging, you don’t need tools – you simply tear off the desired length. You can save up to 25% in time by choosing perforated bubble wrap compared to standard bubble wrap.
2. Pack environmentally friendly

Packing in an environmentally friendly way can be a big advantage for several reasons. Firstly, it is a big return for businesses that choose environmentally friendly solutions. Therefore, it can be a deciding factor for a customer to choose your products over others. This is obviously not only an advantage for your business and brand name, but also a big advantage for the environment.
One of the environmentally friendly trends we have noticed at RAJA is the shift from plastic packaging to paper packaging. Now, for example, you can package your goods in e-commerce bags made of 30% paper. Good alternatives to standard packaging tape are gummed paper tape and paper tape. The tapes each have their own function, but both are recyclable.
Another trend in environmentally friendly packaging is packaging made of recycled plastic, such as environmentally friendly stretch film and environmentally friendly bubble wrap made of 50% recycled plastic. If you want an environmentally friendly e-commerce bag but still want to choose plastic, you can take a look at our environmentally friendly e-commerce bag made of 100% recycled material.

3. Satisfying the customer experience

Being able to offer good products is of course one of the most important elements for many businesses. If you also want to stand out even more, you can think about satisfying the customer experience. This does not end with the purchase of a product, but continues to a large extent once the customer has received the product. Packaging can in fact help to add great value to your brand.
Packaging that can help give a different customer experience are white outer boxes. They stand out from the crowd of brown cardboard boxes. The white colour helps to give an elegant look to your shipment, and the elegant expression makes the boxes also suitable as gift boxes. For example like these white low post boxes.
Another way to make your packaging stand out is by using elements from the gift box. The use of coloured tissue paper is very popular as this detail adds more personal touch. Tissue paper also works well as a parcel filler and has protective properties for shiny surfaces. The wide range of colours gives you a space to be creative with the colours to put your own touch on the packaging of the products.
A completely different way to provide a satisfying customer experience is with return shipping. Here it’s not the appearance that plays any role, instead the focus is on making a return easy for the customer. Of course you don’t want to get the products back from the customer, but that can happen. If you are sending clothes or other textiles, we can recommend our e-commerce bags with double glue stripes.
