From Treveien 9 to Tromsø

We in RAJA Norway have created an internal challenge that we hope will inspire others. The challenge is to either walk, sing or run the equivalent distance from our office at Treveien 9 in Vestby to the Paris of the North, Tromsø. As our head office is located in Paris, France, the Paris of the North is a better fit given COVID-19 and tight borders. The journey is a total of 1654 km that we must complete in 6 weeks. This is an achievable goal for a team of 16

Donation

The best thing about this challenge is that for every km we complete, RAJA Norway will donate a sum to the organization Dråpen i havet, and the work the organization does for women and children on the run. The RAJA group has a foundation to help and defend women’s rights, therefore we have chosen to give our contribution to Dråpen i havet and their important work

On Monday 18 May we put on our training gear and started the journey north towards Tromsø. The goal is to arrive by Sunday 28 June. After two weeks of fantastic effort by Team RAJA Norway, we are already well on our way. We have put a whole 734 km behind us, and we have arrived in Grong municipality. In addition to the donation that RAJA Norway is giving through this challenge, we are also collecting bottles. The pledge money will go to Dråpen i havet.
