4min read 29/01/2021

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and it’s time to freshen up your packaging and gift wrapping, so you’re ready for the big day. On Valentine’s Day, you can use the occasion to give someone a personal gift or greeting, whether your loved ones back home, or your customers.

Here you will find RAJA’s selection of gift wrapping

Below we have some suggestions for simple, but different wrapping that will surely be remembered when the day is over. Some you can use at home, while other you can use in your business and online store.

1. Say it with pictures

Pictures can set the mood, they can bring back old memories and pleasant moments. So why not use them in a creative way in your wrapping? As a business you can give customers the option to upload a personal picture to the gift wrapping, or you can choose some nice pictures with a good mood to give the perfect “Valentine’s look”. And if you are at home wrapping for your loved one, there are no limits to creativity.

In this example, we’ve used:

2. Creamery filled with love

This idea is mostly for those planning a surprise at home. A little creamery filled with strawberries, chocolates or your favorite goodies is a fun detail on Valentine’s Day – and you can tuck in some pretty flowers, too.

You’ll need

3. A romantic scent

Another great idea is to use more of your senses on this romantic day. When you’re wrapping the surprise, you can give the gift a familiar and nice scent by spraying with a good perfume. This is easy to use with gifts that are wrapped in tissue paper, for example.

Remember to choose tissue paper that is chlorine- and acid-free and does not stain.

Another way to add fragrance can be in the form of small sachets, dried flowers or a little card inside the gift.

4. A little brand, a dried flower or something else good

This idea depends on whether you are at home, in the shop or in the warehouse and need to send the parcel with a carrier. Flowers are fragile and don’t stand up to hard handling, but a little mark or badge can be a good idea. It could be a little heart of three, a bell or something else to suit your business and the packaging. In the pictures below, a little greeting is added in the form of a sticker, a badge of three or a flower (dried or fresh). In shops and at home, it’s easy to get creative with the little additions, but think carefully if the parcels are to be sent.

5. Combine two layers of gift wrap

If you’re feeling extra creative, combine two layers of gift wrap and let one shine through with little hearts. It’s best to use two contrasting colours for best effect

If you’re in the warehouse or shop and don’t have time to cut out hearts, leave it alone. Two colours of paper will make a nice effect though.
