Creative gift wrapping for Valentine’s Day

14. february is Valentine’s Day – a day when it’s extra appropriate to send loving greetings, flowers and small gifts to your loved ones. For shops and online stores, this means time for creativity and romantic gift wrapping.
Give your gift wrapping an extra touch and show your customers a personal and creative style on the gift wrapping this month – remind them that Valentine’s Day is approaching. The time you spend on a nice gift wrapping gives you a plus with your customers and can often lead to additional sales.
In this post, we’ve put together two delicious suggestions for a simple and romantic gift wrap that you can quickly make – plus you can buy the look in RAJA’s online store, simply and easily.

Suggestion 1:
This is a stylish look that gives the gift a little extra compared to regular gift wrapping. This style can easily be wrapped in store or if you offer your customers gift wrapping in the web shop.
The technique of this wrapping is simple to learn. Make sure you have enough of the right size ashes in stock – then you can create the look almost every time you wrap. Here we have used RAJA’s post ashes, which come in a range of different sizes. Watch the video (in English) and get the technique down:
Below you will find all the products used for gift wrapping:
1: Postal tray: These trays are practical for sending and come in many different sizes. They are simple to assemble and they are good for many small products in one, for example perfumes and cosmetics. You can also use them for underwear wrapped in tissue paper – the alternatives are many.
2: Solid coloured gift wrap: This gift wrap is made from kraft paper and is a robust form of gift wrapping. The paper comes in a range of different colours and is ideal where many gifts are wrapped, such as in shops. In this case we have used plain brown paper.
3: Tissue paper: Tissue paper is ideal for creating a nice finish. It can be used in many ways and our tissue paper is both acid and chlorine free. Ivory has been chosen for this wrapping.
4: Transparent sealing tapes: these labels are smart, as they have a cleaner look and feel than regular tape, making them perfect for a more exclusive look.
5: Hemp ribbon in natural colour: Hemp ribbon gives a raw and modern expression and is easy to use. Our hemp ribbon is also available in red, but here we have used a natural brown.
6: Accessories: cards, flowers and sundries.
(Tip: When it comes to accessories, creativity is the only limit. If you use flowers, it’s a good idea to use dried flowers if the gift is not to be given immediately.)
Suggestion 2:
The next look is also one you can easily wrap in store or if you offer gift wrapping in the net shop. Again, make sure you have enough ashes in stock. In the video we have used fresh flowers, but when the gift is not to be handed over immediately, dried flowers as mentioned before are a better alternative. When it comes to accessories, only your imagination sets the limits – watch here (video in English):

2: Plain gift wrap: This gift wrap is made from kraft paper and is the same as above, just in a different colour. The paper comes in a range of different colours and is ideal where many gifts are wrapped. In this case the colour used is “copper”. The colour is not quite copper, but also a little purple – it gives a very elegant look with the tissue paper.
3: Tissue paper: This time we used tissue paper in the colour “Ivory”. As described earlier, tissue paper is ideal for creating a beautiful finish. It can be used in many ways and yes, our tissue paper is both acid and chlorine free and does not pollute.
4: Transparent sealing tapes: these labels are just super smart. They are neutral and look nicer than tape, therefore are a perfect choice in this context.
5: Hemp ribbon in natural: We have a nice big roll of hemp ribbon that creates this natural look, simple and clean.
6: Accessories: flowers (but as mentioned, use dried ones).
