4min read 21/03/2018

Rajapack has always been attentive to enhancing the role of women in society, which is why it supports solidarity projects every year through the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation to defend the rights of those in disadvantaged situations or at risk of social exclusion.

Since September 2015, the ‘Women and the Environment’ initiative programme has been supporting solidarity projects through associations around the world. More than 900,000 euros of funds have already been raised by the Raja group, more than 6,000 women and 19 projects have been supported worldwide.

The 3 main aims around which the projects are organised are:

  • Defending women’s rights, preventing and combating the injustices and violence of which they are victims.
  • Educate, train and promote their employment, to ensure their emancipation and financial autonomy.
  • Helping women victims of inequality and exclusion, facilitating their social reintegration.

We have selected 9 eco-responsible products from our catalogue for this cause. Every time you buy one of these products, we will donate 1 € to the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation.

This year the Foundation has selected 5 projects for the ‘Women & Environment ‘ programme.
The funds collected will be transferred to these associations.
