Rajapack is getting greener: 50 per cent green packaging surpassed

2min read 28/07/2017

We are proud to inform you that we have surpassed the 50% mark in our eco-friendly packaging offer and have created a green section within our website with a wide selection of eco-friendly products, a guide to eco-related symbols and our achievements demonstrating our concrete commitment to the environment.

From its foundation in 1954 to the present day, the Raja Group has contributed to safeguarding the environment, mainly through the sale of recycled cardboard. For several years, we have also been committed to sustainable development through a process of continuous improvement.

This constant commitment has enabled us to reach the important milestone of 50% green products!

Why have we embarked on this path?
Lorenza Zanardiexplains
“Our aim is to propose, whenever possible, an ecological alternative in the choice of packaging. Reducing the environmental impact, using recycled materials and offering a wide selection of green solutions, is one of the cardinal principles on which our company is based, both in Italy and internationally. An eco-friendly commitment that is also highly appreciated by customers, as our most recent data show: in 2016 alone, the turnover generated at Rajapack Italia by this type of packaging increased by almost 40% compared to 2015″.

An attention to the planet that we wanted to share with our customers through the creation of a dedicated section on our online portal. A web page that aims to be not only a showcase of the ecological products that qualify Rajapack as an eco-responsible partner, but also a space where we can inform and present our sustainable policy. Customers and users browsing the site will, in fact, be able to access a practical guide to the most commonly used ecological symbols for proper recycling and be constantly updated on the company’s initiatives and results.
