Packaging becomes art

1min read 24/06/2015

Packaging communicates

We at Rajapack like to see that more and more often packaging does more than just protect products. They communicate through printed messages or vibrant colours and sometimes become true works of art.

Here is an example that struck us.

Usually construction sites are covered, sometimes by advertising or signs apologising for inconveniences. But the municipality of Upplands Väsby north of Stockholm wanted to do something different when it renovated a block of buildings. It was proud of the ongoing renovation and transformation of the neighbourhood.

It also wanted to give its citizens an installation: a condensation of art and irony.

He therefore engaged the photographer Erik Johansson.

The result?

imballaggio d'arte

An unusual 3D effect, where the building seems to be wrapped in a giant cardboard box, giving a glimpse of what the new neighbourhood will look like.

And now? I hope this inspires more and more companies to make customised cardboard boxes that will impress their customers, or other packaging with unforgettable colours and phrases.

And you? Impress your customers! In any case, you can count on us and our customisation department!
