Zero damage when transporting fragile objects!
Glassware and precious ceramics are the fragile objects par excellence, here are some tips on how to ship them.
- First of all, protect the itemsfrom scratches. You can choose basic white tissue paper or you can indulge yourself with coloured tissue paper for a striking packaging.
- Fill all the empty spaces inside the glassware or ceramics. You can use paper straw or paper sheets, loose or on a roll.

- Wrap any protruding parts with paper or bubble wrap so that this wrapping is flush with the other parts of the object. For example of a teapot wrap the spout and the handle.

- Also remember to pack loose parts such as the lid of the teapot separately. Use bubble wrap, also known as bubble wrap.
- Use another layer of paper or bubble wrap to wrap all parts of the item together.

- If the product has a very high economic value, use foam cushions. They adapt perfectly to its shape, protecting it from scratches and bumps. Simply place one on top and one underneath the product.

- If you are transporting piles of dishes or other fragile items, place sheets of paper or cardboard between them and then wrap everything with bubble wrap.
- If the transport of dishes is not entrusted to couriers and is short, e.g. you are moving house, you can use only cardboard boxes and do without bubble wrap.

- With fragile items always use two-wave boxes. They will protect the products from shocks and maintain rigidity, even when stacked on top of each other.
- Place a filler under, on top and on the sides of the fragile object, so that it sits in the middle of the box. You can use flo-paks, common crisps, or air cushions.

- Seal the package according to its weight and transport time!

- Finally, don’t forget to place specific shipping labels on the most visible sides.

Happy shipping!
