If necessary, place an additional layer of protective padding on the bottom and sides.When shipping small bulk items, place them in a well-sealed plastic bag before wrapping them in padding.Also wrap rolls of paper or fabric in plastic wrap before placing them in a cardboard tube. No sharp points or edges should protrude from your packaging. Use several layers of bubble wrap so that they do not get damaged and are not a danger to those handling them.

HOW TO SEAL

Seal your carton with three layers of 5 cm wide plastic packaging tape. Choose PVC as the material if you use a used cardboard with an uneven surface. Instead, choose silent polypropylene if your parcel will face excessively low or high temperatures.Caution Never send parcels secured with string or paper tape by courier. They are not accepted by couriers. The strings get caught in their automatic sorting equipment and the paper may tear.

HOW TO CREATE A COURIER-FRIENDLY PACKAGE

Your parcel, even if it contains a small item, must be large enough for the couriers to attach one of their waybills.

WHERE TO WRITE ADDRESSES

Thelabel you stick on the outside must in any case clearly state the recipient’s address (always remember the house number and a telephone number) and the sender’s address.

Don’t forget: before closing the parcel, place an additional copy with the sender/receiver addresses inside.

This could be essential for tracing the shipment in case the outer label comes off.
