We have great customers. That is nothing new. For us, it’s nice to discover how many companies come up with ways out of the “Corona standstill” with great creativity. And it’s almost as nice that we can support them with our offer. Because at a time when a lot of things are simply going the distance, our products can actually build bridges. We let some of our customers tell their stories here, such as Kathrin Buhl-Bereket from Zink und Zauber, a ceramics workshop.
Workshops and events
Actually, painting ceramics at Zinc and magic is a very social event. Since Kathrin founded her ceramics workshop in 2010, she has taken incredible pleasure in introducing this form of creativity to other people. In her workshops, the dismissive “I can’t do that!” almost always gives way to an astonished self-confidence, virtually captured in stone.
In addition to the classic workshops, the now three artists Kathrin, Antonella and Suzana accompany hen parties, children’s birthday parties or company events. Besides the actual creative process, the three derive their joy from ceramics from this.
Corona requires rethinking
In March 2020, the courses came to an end for the time being: lockdown.
Zink und Zauber reacted to the new conditions by expanding the website into a webshop and introducing the “Keramik2go” concept:
Ceramics2Go
In fact, the homepage offers a selection of different “DIY arrangements” for self-designing at home. Zink und Zauber sends the ordered ceramic blanks, the required material and a lovingly designed explanation and instructions to the customers. Until the finished product is ready, the delicate goods have to be sent a few more times: The painted blank goes back to Zink und Zauber for firing and glazing and finally the finished product goes back to the customer – ready for use and individual.
Good and safe shipping
It goes without saying that the Shipping packaging must be relied on is self-evident. It is more than annoying if the box with the blanks is damaged during transport. And a real catastrophe when the finished cups, plates or bowls, designed with heart and soul, arrive at the customer’s as broken pieces. So one of the main challenges was:
Shatter-proof packaging! RAJA supports this logistical act and supplies the appropriate packaging. Packaging materialso that the treasures reach the customer in one piece.
A little more inspiration
In the blog, Zink und Zauber finally combines three passions: ceramics, good food and an eye for great photography 😉
It’s always great to see what can happen when someone loves what they do!
