Would you like to be called an impostor? You don’t have to! Instead, there is a special product group that can easily be called that. Because for these products, it’s practically a trademark and thus part of their daily job. Stacking containers do what other boxes, crates and bins cannot: They can be stacked perfectly on top of each other and do not slip. Together with the large containers, they are ideal for order and transport in the company and contribute to warehouse optimisation.

Simply “pile up

Whether in the warehouse, on the shop floor or in the workshop – space is seemingly always in short supply! So why not simply rearrange everything and use the space up to the ceiling by “piling it high”? How do you do it? With practical containers and boxes that are simply stackable! Euro containers are robust and have optimum volume utilisation. This makes them a practical all-rounder in the workshop, warehouse, factory and for materials handling. Because the plastic stacking boxes are ideal for storing documents, small parts or bulky materials. Whether for space-saving storage or preparation for shipping goods, stacking boxes are used in trade, industry as well as in department stores and in agriculture – so everything has its place and you have an overview!

The advantages are obvious: they quickly create order, facilitate transport and are also very robust and durable. Even temperatures from -20 degrees to +70 degrees cannot harm them. The pallet boxes can also be used several times, are easy to clean and can usually be stored inside each other to save space when they are not in use.

Making optimum use of small load carriers

But the ability to stack them on top of each other is undoubtedly the biggest plus point: this is the only way to create or optimally utilise space – and without the need for storage racks or additional storage space! Many of these practical stacking containers do not even need a lid to do their job: The base of the next box stacked on top is simply used. This saves not only space and time but also weight! This is an important aspect when these so-called small load carriers are used to transport goods. Because here the exact weight is very important. Overview – with coloured open fronted storage bins

What exactly is meant by open fronted storage bins? The two functions of such a storage container are conveniently hidden in the word itself: they are ideal for storing (small) parts and at the same time for viewing them through a recess or opening. In this way, the user, for example in order picking, can see directly from the front which is the correct storage container without access. Access to the goods themselves is also made easy by the opening: the storage container itself remains where it is, and removal takes place via the recess.

With many, possibly similar parts, sorting and quick retrieval is nevertheless difficult. The different colours (available in blue, yellow, green, grey or red) then additionally help with quick assignment.

Of course, the storage containers can also be labelled, the most practical way to do this is via exchangeable plug-in labels, for which these boxes have label holders.

Palletising with Euro containers

Especially for goods logistics, there are standardised storage boxes that are perfectly adapted to the dimensions of a Euro pallet. Stackable boxes in Euro format can be stacked and transported on Euro pallets without any problems due to the standardised Euro dimensions. You can choose between small and large boxes, because the stackable plastic boxes are available in different sizes. In this way, box after box can be selected in the desired format and volume to meet individual needs. Then simply place them on the Euro pallet and stack more boxes next to or on top of them until the pallet is fully loaded. Thanks to the Euro standard, the versatile containers can be stacked safely and in a space-saving manner and can also be easily combined with Euro boxes from other brands. In this way, any free space can be occupied and the pallet gets a homogeneous appearance. Different colours of the transport boxes also make it easier to sort and later find or assign them at their destination.

But the containers also make it very easy to store parts on the shelf. Whether stacked on top of each other or placed next to each other – the rectangular, uniform shape of the boxes enables space-saving storage. This not only creates more space, but also more order in the warehouse.

Closed, open or transparent?

Storage boxes are available in various designs. For example, the question arises as to whether they have closed or openwork walls and bottoms? This can be answered simply according to the area of use:

Plastic containers that are closed all around and may even have a separate lid are usually opaque and particularly weatherproof. They protect their contents from moisture, sunlight, dirt or dust. In addition, small items cannot get lost through any opening. Closed containers are used across all sectors for automatic conveyor systems. If you don’t mind strangers looking in, you can also use transparent universal containers. They are translucent and thus allow the contents to be seen clearly, which makes it much easier to find them in the warehouse or archive.

Stacking boxes with openwork walls

Stacking boxes with perforated walls have an even lower tare weight and serve to improve air circulation. Due to the optimal ventilation of the perforated walls and floors, fresh food can be transported and stored particularly well in these boxes or presented to customers at markets. Openwork walls are also ideal for seedlings in nurseries, for example: The soil can breathe and moisture can escape.

Mobile storage space for the warehouse

If the shelves are full for a short time or you need a place for temporary storage, large plastic containers are extremely useful: not only are they spacious, but thanks to their castors they can be placed where they are needed or do not interfere. This provides additional, mobile storage space in the warehouse

Another advantage: the base and walls of the smaller models are closed and a matching support lid is available separately. This prevents dust or dirt from getting into the large container with castors. However, the walls and base of the large 300-litre container are perforated with reinforcing ribs. However, you can also use the support lid here to protect your goods, parts or merchandise from contamination from above.

The temperature- and shape-resistant large containers made of impact-resistant polyethylene are, like the pallet box, ideal helpers for transporting bulk goods, small parts, packages or textiles safely and easily from one place to another or simply for storing them.

Especially during transport, the four swivel castors and the handles on the front are worth their weight in gold. Thanks to these, you can steer goods and merchandise weighing up to 150 kilograms (depending on the model) safely to their destination while protecting your back. The ribbed outer walls provide increased stability.

This makes them perfect for warehouses, workshops or industrial plants where heavy parts and large quantities of goods are part of everyday life. Durable and environmentally friendly

One advantage of the large containers they are very durable and robust. The inner walls of the containers are smooth, which makes them particularly easy to clean. So if you want to transport different goods and commodities, you can simply clean the container and use it afterwards without any problems and without having to worry about anything getting mixed or contaminated.
