Infinitec GmbH, founded in 2007 in Mandelbachtal, Germany, specialises in high-quality vehicle care products under the Nanolex Car Care brand as well as innovative surface coatings for the industrial and commercial sector with Nano Surface Solutions. The company attaches great importance to research and development, sustainability and quality. All products are developed, tested and produced in Germany. Infinitec offers comprehensive solutions for private label customers and ensures that its products meet the highest industry standards.
The classic success story: From the garage…
Since 2007, Infinitec GmbH has developed from a modest garage company into a major player in the field of car care products. The initiator of this success story is Florian Kessler, who as a young business administration student and car care enthusiast recognised the potential of using glass sealants for car windows. With a great deal of commitment and innovative ideas, he developed high-quality, long-lasting products and from the outset focussed on an eye-catching purple design that stood out from the competition.
…to the international brand and entire production halls
Today, almost two decades later, Infinitec is a dynamic company with almost 30 employees and a production area of around 5,000 square metres. The company now manufactures all its own products in Germany, from shampoos to sealants, and has its own chemical and quality management department. Close co-operation with chemists enables Infinitec to continuously improve products and guarantee the highest quality standards.
Private Label Business
A notable aspect of Infinitec is its offering for private label customers. They can have complete product lines, including quality management and marketing support, developed by Infinitec. This flexibility and the customer-orientated offer set Infinitec apart from the competition. While large competitors often only accept large orders, Infinitec also offers smaller customers the opportunity to start with small quantities and grow gradually.
The partnership with RAJA
This philosophy is similar to that of RAJA, a long-standing partner of Infinitec. Infinitec has been sourcing its packaging from RAJA since 2015. This partnership began with a small order and developed into a trusting and stable business relationship. The availability and speed of RAJA’s deliveries are of the utmost importance to Infinitec:
Sustainability in all respects
Focus on employees – consistency reflected in product quality
One of the most important factors in the company is employee satisfaction. Thanks to the numerous opportunities for personal development within the company and the everyday philosophy that the employee is at the centre of everything we do, many of the current 30 employees have been with the company for many, many years. And with that comes a great deal of expertise and experience.
Product development, product improvement and quality
Infinitec offers its customers great consistency: “We have products in our range that have been around for 10 years or more in consistent quality.” At the same time, the company is constantly developing, testing and manufacturing everything entirely in Germany. Infinitec’s constant contact with raw material suppliers ensures that new recipes can be developed and existing ones improved. Konstanza Kessler: “With the launch of the GreenX line, we currently have products in our range that are completely label-free. This is important to us anyway: If we find out that the raw materials we use may not be safe, we either discontinue the product or find a safe alternative for these raw materials.”
Packaging optimisation
Infinitec relies on paper and cardboard for most of its packaging. And on questioning “time-honoured traditions”: the use of environmentally friendly paper packaging tape is currently being tested in the shipping department. Constanza Kessler explains with a grin: “Of course, there are some people here who say we’ve been buying Tesa since 2015 and it always has to be Tesa, but you have to be open to new ways of doing things, and if it’s even more environmentally friendly, so much the better!”
The packaging units have also been optimised to reduce filling material and minimise the environmental impact. “One small thing with a big impact in terms of packaging was that we changed our packaging units. We used to have a packaging unit of 12 bottles, and there was always quite a lot of air in there. We switched to 15 bottles, which means less filling material and transport costs,” says Constanza Kessler.
A dream that almost fell through
Constanza Kessler has an anecdote to tell about packaging from the early days of Infinitec: “At the very beginning, back then in the garage, Florian [Kessler] bought packaging material, he had invested all his money in this packaging. It rained very heavily and water got in. The entire order was unusable. He thought, this is the end of my dream, it’s all wet! But thank God he was able to buy new packaging thanks to other jobs. But we still think about it and say to ourselves: How sometimes a dream can fail because of the packaging…”
