We are proud of our customers and it is always inspiring to see how companies find creative ways to deal with their individual challenges. It is particularly gratifying that we are able to support them with our services. Kathrin Buhl-Bereket, founder and owner of Zink & Zauber, told us the story of how her company came about.
About Zink & Zauber
Zink & Zauber is a small but lively workshop that specialises in painting and designing ceramics. Kathrin, the founder and owner of Zink & Zauber, describes herself as someone who was always looking for a fulfilling activity. She eventually discovered her passion for ceramic painting and founded the Zink & Zauber ceramic painting workshop just outside Stuttgart. She and her team offer a wide range of creative possibilities where customers can let their imagination run wild. The opportunity to create something unique with their own hands is particularly appreciated, which is not only relaxing but also offers a welcome change from everyday life.
Innovative solutions during the pandemic
Zink & Zauber responded flexibly to the challenges of the pandemic with the introduction of the to-go boxes. Courses had to be paused due to the lockdown. These boxes allow customers to express their creativity at home. Kathrin admits that launching this initiative was a challenge, especially when it came to packaging and shipping the delicate ceramic blanks. However, the team has successfully developed a concept that provides all the necessary materials and accessories to offer customers a fulfilling creative experience.
Creative process and teamwork
The creative process at Zink & Zauber is strongly team-orientated. New ideas often emerge during the appraisal of customer works or during joint coffee breaks in which visions are discussed. As soon as an idea takes shape, it is fleshed out by selecting suitable colours, blanks and materials. An important aspect of this is the careful planning of packaging to ensure that the works arrive safely and undamaged at the customer’s premises.
Safe dispatch
It goes without saying that care must be taken when shipping boxes. It would be extremely annoying if the box containing the blanks was damaged in transit, and a real disaster if the finished pieces arrived as broken pieces. One of the biggest challenges was therefore to find break-proof packaging! RAJA provided support in this logistical endeavour and supplied the right packaging material to ensure that the valuable creations reached the customer undamaged.
Conclusion
Zink & Zauber not only offers a platform for creative expression, but also inspires people to break new ground and realise their own ideas. Kathrin’s enthusiasm and dedication have made the company a place where creativity and passion lead to tangible results. With innovative solutions such as the “To-Go-Boxes”, Zink & Zauber has proven that flexibility and ingenuity can ensure success even in difficult times. We at RAJA are delighted to be part of this success story.
