RAJA’s Commitment to ‘Women & The Environment !

In RAJA we have our own foundation, founded on the initiative of Danièle Kapel Marcovici, CEO of RAJA Group. The Foundation is placed under the direction of the ‘Fondation de France’ and supports projects in France and around the world in favour of the role and emancipation of women in society.
Message from the President:
RAJA is first and foremost a story of women … a story that started in 1954, more than 60 years ago. RAJA exists thanks to the will of Rachel Marcovici, my mother, who fought to create her business, in the very masculine world of the distribution ofsupplies and packaging equipment for companies.
I continued to lead the RAJA Group by instilling in the company strong values of solidarity, respect and gender equality, and I have always been convinced that the role of the company is not only economic but also social and societal.
For these reasons and thanks to the economic success of the company, I decided in 2006 to create the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation. Day after day for more than 12 years, the entire RAJA Group and the associations supported by the Foundation have been mobilizing .
Nothing is acquired, and many rights remain to be won. We continue our fight for women’s rights, as long as inequalities and violence persist.
The Foundation’s key priorities:
The Foundation develops partnerships with French and foreign associations mobilising around the world to empower women and improve their lives. It provides financial support for projects in four areas:
The aim is to help women become more independent, support their families and find their place in society by undergoing vocational training and finding work or setting up their own businesses.
Since its inception in 2006, the Foundation has supported projects that focus on improving the lives of women around the world, and here are the key figures after 15 years:
> 304 associations have been supported in France and around 55 other countries worldwide.
> 100,000 women have been protected, helped and educated.
> 10 million euros have been donated to organisations and associations over the last 13 years.
How can you, as a customer, support the projects?
In cooperation with our suppliers, RAJA Grop has selected a number of environmentally friendly products that support the Women and the Environment programme.
Until 28.02.2022, for every purchase of one of the selected products, 10 DKK will be donated to support the 6 selected projects in the programme and in the gallery below. Go to the products.
