Løvegården is run by Kristina and Martin together with their four children. In 2020, the family took over the farm and quickly started growing microgreens and breeding animals. The production of vegetables and the opening of their farm shop followed shortly after.
In the shop they sell a wide range of gluten-free products such as bread, cakes, flour and meat products, making it easy for people with coeliac disease to shop without worry. Løvegården also has a webshop where they expand the range of gluten-free products and other delicacies. As demand increased, the warehouse was moved to an external location to handle the many orders that are packed and shipped daily to customers across the country.

When Løvegården had been running their webshop for about a year, it became clear that there was a need to optimise their packaging purchases. Previously, they purchased from several different suppliers, but wanted a more streamlined solution. We do everything we can to recycle as much as possible! We often pack and ship goods in the cardboard boxes we receive ourselves, but especially for glass and bottles we have previously used a lot of bubble wrap. Now we’re taking an important step towards using less plastic!
