The RAJA Group’s headquarters is home to the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation, which was founded in 2006 and works to promote the emancipation of women and girls around the world.
The Foundation’s main mission
Themain mission of the Foundation is to support projects for the empowerment of women and girls. This action falls into four priority areas of intervention:
- Combating violence against women and girls,
- Education, and Women’s Leadership,
- professional integration and women’s economic rights,
- Women’s action for the environment.
The Foundation has also created an emergency fund to support associations whose needs are of priority and immediate concern.
The second mission of the Foundation is to mobilize RAJA Group employees through the RAJAPeople program. This program allows our employees to get involved in the Foundation’s activities, participate in various events and raise awareness of the projects.
Another mission is to raise awareness and inform about overcoming inequalities. As the inequalities and violence suffered by women are often misunderstood and ignored, the Foundation wants to help make their voices heard. It also wants to highlight the urgency and need to mobilise civil society. The Foundation organises events to raise awareness of women’s issues among different types of audiences. It shares its expertise and promotes the exchange of experiences based on the results of the projects it supports, with a view to improving the effectiveness of action in this area and contributing to the dissemination of lessons learned. To this end, it establishes partnerships with other foundations, financial sector bodies and institutional actors.
Projects supported
Over 16 years, the Foundation has supported 576 projects led by 312 associations, i.e. more than 110 000 beneficiaries in 56 countries, with a total budget of more than €11 million.

We can also contribute to and support these projects by purchasing so-called partner products. Every time you buy a package from this offer, 1 euro is donated to the Foundation. The Foundation will then use the money raised to support the selected projects.
