Wrapping a round or rounded product in a square box while preventing it from moving around inside – without special boxes and equipment, this is a real “packaging” nut. You can crack it with shaped, square, cubic or long boxes that are ideally suited to any shaped product.
For example, do you want to pack your standardized products in A6, A4, A3 or other standardized formats? Then choose standard cardboard boxes. These formats are defined by CSN and internationally according to ISO 216. The standards are generally accepted and define standard paper sizes, which were already adopted in Czechoslovakia in 1953. The fixed formats were created to unify correspondence based on the metric model: The starting point is the A0 size with a content of one square metre. However, the aspect ratio is not 1:1 as for a square, but 1:1.41. For the A0 format, this is therefore 840 by 1.189 millimetres. This ratio applies to all standard formats. It is therefore possible to divide the A0 format by two: once into A1, twice into A2 or four times to obtain the most common format of 210 x 297 mm, which corresponds to the A4 designation.
Since 1975, the A4 format has become established worldwide with few exceptions. Nowadays, standardized standardized cardboard boxes are available in more than 100 different variants and thicknesses. This allows you to choose cardboard boxes in the desired basis weights and numbers of corrugated board layers. Three-layer standard boxes are a very good choice for lightweight and sturdy products, while five-layer boxes are used for heavy and fragile goods or bulk, unwrapped products. For heavy transport and long-term storage or export of very fragile or extra heavy goods, we recommend seven-layer boxes with a carton thickness of 15 mm.
Flexibly adjustable long boxes

Is it not possible to include your product in the above standards? That’s not a problem either: for example, special long boxes solve the shipping of posters, rolled products and rolls. Different sizes, variants without or including a telescopic lid or with a mouth on the front or longitudinal side offer a wide range of options – the right packaging solution for every need: the length is, for example, flexibly adaptable in the case of packages with telescopic lids, thus adapting perfectly to the format of your product. Long boxes with fixed dimensions can be closed reliably and easily at both ends with adhesive tape. Bulky products, on the other hand, can be stored very quickly and easily in boxes with large openings on the longitudinal side. The longitudinal flaps cover the box twice when closed and thus optimally protect the contents. We also have suitable paper boxes for other special requirements: for flat products, height-adjustable, for cubic and square goods, specially for shipping, for transport, for clothing, for archiving, for bottles, for dangerous goods, etc.
