Together for women’s rights: 15,832,691 steps!

15,832,691 steps! This is the result of a three-day event from 3 to 5 March 2015(more info here) within the RAJA Foundation, of which we can be really proud! All the employees in the 18 European RAJA Group offices supported the action for women’s rights organized by the RAJA – Danièle Markovici Foundation with their steps and the common goal of 15 million steps was not only reached, but even exceeded.

In good weather, the lunch break in Rajapack in Říčany was “moved” outside into the fresh air. Internal phone calls were replaced by a personal visit at the next desk.

Thanks to this teamwork, we actively contributed to the overall result and thus to the total amount of 15.000,- Euro, which was handed over by the RAJA – Danièle Markovici Foundation on behalf of all its employees to the Life Project 4 Youth.

This contribution will enable the organization to support young mothers and women in Jakarta (Indonesia) and Manila (Philippines) in their work and life direction, perspective and hope for a better future for themselves and their children.
