3min read 01/07/2016

Adhesive tape is a must in every shipping warehouse, and not just there! It’s a handy helper that allows us to securely close each box or secure the bottom of it. There are many adhesive tapes, they differ in the material used. PP and PVC adhesive tapes are the most commonly used for packing parcels and differ mainly in price. The price is an indicator of the quality of the material, PVC are more expensive, but at the same time more durable. They are made of polyvinyl chloride. PP adhesive tapes are cheap but also less durable. The basic material is polypropylene. You can read more about the differences between PP and PVC here.

Types of adhesive tapes and how to use them
