RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation was created to support women around the world. The Foundation supports the projects of associations that defend women’s rights and strive to improve their living conditions.

Briefly about the Foundation

Founded in 2006 by Danièle Kapel-Marcovici, President and CEO of the RAJA Group, and under the auspices of the Fondation de France, the Foundation supports projects in France and around the world.

The Foundation supports projects in four main areas:

– combating violence against women

– leadership training for girls

– professional integration and economic and social rights

– women’s action in favour of the environment

The Foundation also conducts promotional and awareness-raising activities in close cooperation with its partners. It also supports the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations to eradicate poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all.

Summary of key results for 2022

In 2022, the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation funded more than 110 projects with visible results:

♀️ 130,912 women victims of violence supported by the organization’s funds,

📚 8,494 young girls enrolled in school,

📈 8 80 vocational training and employment coaching provided,

🌍 6,949 women supported in their environmental activities.

What Dinièle Kapel-Marcovici, founder and president of the Foundation, says

“I founded the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation 16 years ago to express my commitment to stand up for women and girls and to support those who work on the frontline to defend their rights,” says Danièle Kapel-Marcovici, RAJA Group CEO, Founder and Chairwoman of the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation.

“We launched our first call for projects in 2006 and funded 9 charities. We are still contributing to these and many other organisations today. In 2022, the Foundation funded 110 projects in favour of women and girls, bringing the total value of our donations since 2006 to over 15 million euros,” she adds.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has worked so hard to help the Foundation fulfil its core mission and promote gender equality,” says Danièle Kapel-Marcovici.

How can you support the Foundation?

The RAJA Group launched theWomen and theEnvironment programme in 2015. You can support this programme by purchasing selected ecological products.

And how does it all work? The RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation selects the associated projects it will support. The RAJA Group selects the products, part of the money from the purchase of which will be donated to support these projects. For each package of products purchased, 25 CZK is donated to the Foundation. The Foundation will then use the money to support the selected projects.
