2. How does a sealer work?

A sealer allows you to create a perfectly tailored plastic bag.The longer your product is, the more plastic sleeve you will need to use.The smaller your product is, the less sleeve you will need to use.This therefore allows you to use only the amount of packaging you need.No more wastage.This is a machine equipped with a sealing arm and works with plastic sleeve by default.The method of working is very simple

• Adjust the thermostat to set the sealing time.
• Insert your product into the sleeve.
• Lower the preheated sealing arm to seal the liner like a bag.
• Cut the remaining liner.
• Raise the sealing arm – your custom-made plastic bag is ready!

► Which sealer should I choose?

[There are obviously several types of welders, each with their own specifications, and your choice depends largely on your daily use and the width of the liner you need

• Limited use: up to 4 bags/minute If you only use a sealer a few times a day, then you can opt for a tabletop sealer. This machine is very light, compact and easy to use thanks to the thermostat for adjusting the sealing time. The maximum sleeve width cannot exceed 200 mm. This makes it the ideal sealer for packaging your smaller products.

• Medium duty: up to 8 bags/minute. For average use, it is advisable to upgrade to an Easy Packer©. This manual sealer is easy to use with its built-in safety knife and timer to set the sealing time. The Easy Packer© is also available with a magnet to keep the sealing arm lowered during the operation, allowing the operator to improve productivity. The maximum sleeve width for this machine cannot exceed 400 mm

• Heavy duty: up to 14 bags/minute The SMS(Super Magnet Sealer) is the best solution for industrial use. This machine allows you to seal a plastic sleeve up to 680 mm wide, which makes it a very good solution for packaging your larger products. This machine is equipped with a safety knife and a sealing arm that automatically lifts after the operation. The SMS sealer is also available with a foot pedal for even more efficient work.

► How do I choose the right plastic sheath for my welding machine?

choice of plastic sleeve depends on two things: the size and weight of your products

• Clear plastic sheath 50 microns: for your light products of all sizes.
• Transparent plastic sheath 100 microns: for your heavy and sharp products of all sizes.
• Clear plastic sleeve 150 microns: for your very heavy products with sharp corners.
• 100 micron opaque sleeve: for more confidentiality.

apart from a plastic sleeve, you can also use a plastic bag that is already sealed on one side. You put your product in the bag and seal the other side with your sealer. To make your life even easier, you can combine your sealer with a sleeve unwinder or a work tray. These accessories are available for the Easy Packer© and SMS models. For an even more ergonomic solution, you can combine the sealer with a stand. This allows you to work seated and therefore more comfortable

3. How does a thermofilming machine work?

Une thermofilmeuse vous permet de créer une ‘enveloppe’ plastique autour de votre produit. Installez un rouleau de film dans la thermofilmeuse et placez-y votre produit. Ensuite, laissez le plastique se rétracter sous la chaleur jusqu’à ce que votre emballage soit hermétique. Alors qu’ une soudeuse vous permet de créer un sac plastique, une thermofilmeuse vous permet de créer une sorte de ‘peau’ qui protège votre produit de l’humidité, de la poussière et qui le rend imperméable.

Une thermofilmeuse vous permet d’emballer jusqu’à 300 produits par heure. Notre thermofilmeuse ESP se combine avec un film polyoléfine Rajashrink ou Cryovac CT. Afin de choisir le bon film rétractable, vous devez juste tenir compte de la largeur de film correspondant aux dimensions du produit à emballer. Vu que le film se rétracte parfaitement autour de vos produits, il s’adapte à tous les modèles.
