the world of packaging look like today? We recently had to answer this question for Onlineretailer.be magazine. Current themes such as sustainability, personalisation and volume reduction, which are becoming increasingly important to end consumers, were obviously mentioned during the interview. It is therefore essential to integrate these themes as much as possible into the daily strategy of your shop or e-commerce.

1. Packaging with a green character
One of the most important themes in the world of packaging is the ecological question: how can we package our products in an environmentally friendly way? We already asked ourselves this crucial question here at RAJA a few years ago. Today, 51% of our products are ecological
in
nature. These products are 100% recyclable, fully or partially recycled, from sustainably managed forests and have official (national or European) certificates, so for each of our products there is also a fully-fledged ecological alternative. In addition, 92% of our products are manufactured in Europe, so we make sure that the ecological footprint is kept to an absolute minimum. The closer to home we produce, the less we pollute!
2. Less is more: a reduction in volume
3. Customise!
A third point not to be overlooked in the world of packaging is personalisation. Every day millions of parcels are sent out, but how can you stand out from the crowd? You can easily give your brand more visibility with printed boxes, bags or stickers. Choose your logos and colours and let the printer do the rest. Wherever your customer walks with his or her bag, your brand will always be clearly visible and will become even more well-known. Personalisation is clearly on the rise, take advantage of it!
Given the strong growth of the e-commerce sector, it has become essential to take all of these issues into account. Consumers will attach a great deal of importance to the fact that the products they have ordered are sent in an economical and environmentally friendly way.
