From pallet pullers to trolleys: everything runs smoothly in your warehouse

Pallet trucks, trolleys, rolls, etc. How do you move your goods without worrying?

► 1. Homogeneous goods

What do you need? ⇒ Hand trucks

Simply slide the hand truck flap under your load to lift and move it.They are particularly useful for moving homogeneous loads: flat-bottomed 1-piece loads (such as a stack of cardboard boxes, for example).They are handy for quickly loading and unloading box trucks

s more, many hand trucks fold up and take up very little space.But don’t let its small size sway you: a hand truck can lift up to 350 kg (depending on the model).This makes it a reliable and compact partner in your warehouse or office.Another tip: the thicker the truck’s tyres, the easier it will be to use on uneven floors

► 2. Small stacks of heterogeneous goods or loose objects

What you need ⇒ Shelf trolleys

These are not only found in large warehouses, but also in shops and offices.They are mainly used to move heterogeneous loads or loose items.You can, for example, stack boxes of different sizes on them, or load them with smaller packages and loose items.There are even more robust trolleys that can carry up to 600kg at a time.

► 3. Large stacks of heterogeneous goods or bulk objects

What you need ⇒ Multi-purpose trolleys

Multi-purpose trolleys consist of several shelves so that you can stack your goods high.You can then transport much more goods in one trip than with a single trolley or rolling tray.There are compact multi-purpose trolleys for the office, but also larger models with which you can move up to 600 kg.

► 4. Bulky or valuable goods

What you need ⇒ Rolls

Rolls have side walls (2-4 sides).Therefore, your goods cannot fall out of the container when you move them.This makes the roll the safest and most protective solution for transporting your products.If you intend to leave it unattended, it is best to choose a roll with a padlock.The roll thus becomes a metal cage in which your products are better protected against theft.

► 5. Pallets

Pour transporter sans problème des piles de palettes, il est préférable d’utiliser des tire-palettes. Ils sont fabriqués en acier inaltérable et soulèvent des charges jusqu’à 2500 kg.

Il existe un large choix de modèles. Saviez-vous, par exemple, que les roues en polyuréthane fonctionnent de façon optimale sur un sol plat tandis qu’il est préférable d’avoir des roues en caoutchouc si vous faites face à un sol irrégulier (notez tout de même que les roues en caoutchouc peuvent laisser des traces sur la surface). Autre info utile : un tire-palette a une longueur standard de 1,15 mètre, mais il existe aussi des modèles avec une longueur de fourche de 0,8 mètre seulement. Ces derniers sont par conséquent plus utiles dans les espaces étroits et dans les ascenseurs.

► 6. Continuous movement of parcels

When you are continually moving products or boxes, it is much easier to use a conveyor than a hand truck or trolley.
