Kan je ons vertellen wie Sativa Rheinau is?

Sativa Rheinau is a biologisch zaadbedrijf dat meer dan 600 soorten groenten, kruiden, bloemen, groenbemesters en meer aanbiedt voor professioneel gebruik en moestuinen. We also focus on the development of new species that are special to the needs of the biological environment. We are committed to a self-standing, independent and non-genetically modified approach to biology.

Ons plantenzaad is afkomstig van ongeveer 120 kleine en middelgrote biologische bedrijven uit Zwitserland en omliggende regio’s. We liften aan klanten in voornamelijk Zwitserland, maar ook in landen van de EU. Sativa was established in 1998.

Sinds wanneer werken jullie samen met RAJA en welke verpakkingsoplossingen gebruikt Sativa?

We are always working with RAJA to develop packaging for our products. We have 10 different formats and dozens of products at any one time. In addition, RAJA can supply a wide range of products, including tape, document and pallet packaging. Our partnership started in November 2009. We are in the process of setting up our first transport fleet.

Wat is voor jullie belangrijk bij het verzenden van een product?

Bij Sativa verzenden we jaarlijks zo’n 30.000 pakketten. This means that we produce many different, high-quality products (plants and vegetables). This also means that we have to look for the right items. Good packaging is always crucial. Dankzij RAJA hebben we oplossingen gevonden die perfect aansluiten bij onze verzendbehoeften.

Kozen jullie bewust voor duurzame verpakkingen?

If we are concerned about the use of bio-based products, then we see the importance of safety as a key factor. If there’s a better alternative to traditional packaging, then we’re all for that alternative. In the past, we have used 80% recycled materials. We’ve been very busy over the past few years, and we’re looking forward to seeing what RAJA has to offer.

What do you want to do for RAJA Zwitserland?

Al sinds het moment dat ik mijn carrière hier startte, werken we samen met RAJA. Het totaalpakket dat RAJA ons kan geven, biedt de meeste mogelijkheden en voordelen. We have a great deal of confidence in our extensive range of products. We are always looking for new ideas, and we are always looking forward to working with RAJA. Bovendien is de klantenservice uitstekend!

We also sell several plants per post. This means that we have a one-stop shop that ensures that the plants are delivered to our customers. Samen met RAJA hebben we zo’n dozen weten te ontwikkelen.
