[DE] Perspectives for women

4min read 23/02/2025
Two strong women founded RAJA in 1954.
Awareness of equal rights and strong women has been anchored in the company’s core values ever since. The aim is to empower women to stand up for themselves, to lead a self-determined and chosen life – to give them the POWER to go through life strong. RAJA stands up for women! For their equal opportunities at work. For their protection from homelessness and violence. And against all forms of marginalisation and discrimination.
Join us, because together we are stronger.

Strong support makes women strong.

RAJA is committed to strong women with its "Perspectives for Women" programme. Because even in the 21st century, many women are still restricted in their personal lives by violence, professional discrimination and marginalisation.
Together we can achieve more!

Strong for equal opportunities!

RAJA is committed to the career prospects of women, especially young migrant women. For the removal of cultural barriers that prevent them from leading a self-determined life in Germany. For a future without marginalisation and prejudice in a strong community.

Strong for integration!

RAJA is committed to the integration of women and girls. For entry and re-entry into working life. For coordination with children, especially when they are still small. For career opportunities and fair pay. And, last but not least, for togetherness

Strong against violence!

RAJA is committed to protecting women from physical and psychological violence by partners, ex-partners and other family members - especially in separation situations. For a new home that offers security. For job security. For a life with prospects.

Our commitment is based on our founding history.

Rachel MarcoviciWhen Rachel Marcovici and Janine Rocher founded RAJA (RAchel/JAnine) in 1954, it was a minor sensation. At a time when equal rights for women and men were still in their infancy, the two had the courage to go their own way. Against all conventions. With an ingenious idea: they sold used cardboard boxes that they could offer more cheaply than new ones – the beginning of a fascinating success story. Our commitment to women is not least a respectful tribute to the achievements of Rachel and Janine.

Strong partners that we support in the long term.

To ensure that our commitment to strong women has the greatest possible impact, we work together with the three selected organisations and associations. The support is long-term and sustainable, the partnerships are close and based on trust. You can find more information on the respective websites:
