Yesterday, 7 September, we went once again to have fun on El Hormiguero! We are already known for our stellar performances in this programme, it’s our 12th time in prime time.
El Hormiguero had a 15.1% share and 2,095,000 viewers, were you one of them? If so, I’m sure you saw Las Twin Melody doing the most viral but most dangerous challenge of the moment, seriously, don’t do it at home!
Do you know the TikTok #MilkCrateChallenge?
This challenge consists of making ladders out of reusable plastic grid boxes and trying to climb them up and then down. It seems easy, but it is not, it is a real balance test, if you do not succeed it is impossible to get out of this challenge without injury, because if you do you will fall from a great height and, moreover, on one of these boxes that are characterized by their great rigidity. And as we all know… Boxes have corners, ouch!
But thanks to the magic of El Hormiguero, the Twin Melodies didn’t have to risk so much as Aitana, the only one who did the challenge of the 2 twins, did it with a harness to ensure a good fall.
How is she the star of the night?
Plastic mesh boxes are ideal for products that need aeration, they are stackable (that’s why they can make the ladder of the challenge). They are normally used in the agricultural, textile and food sectors? But who would imagine that they would be the protagonists of the most viral challenge of TikTok?
