9:30 in the morning, 24 May 2022, there is joy in the air.

Thousands of exhibitors, customers and spectators attend Hispack, the event for the packaging industry at the Fira de Barcelona, with a single goal: to meet again!

The fair was divided into 3 themes. The first was Graphispag, the International Exhibition for the graphics and visual communication industry. The second was Brand PackagingWe were there, and the third was machinery for all types of packaging..

Sustainability was the common denominator: at Hispack you could see EcoResponsible solutions in processes, materials, packaging and personalisation.

At RAJA® we promote the circular economy and offer sustainable packaging options. sustainable packaging options that help companies to be more responsible with their shipments, with the presentation and even with the storage of their products.

That’s why at the RAJA® stand at Hispack visitors could find all kinds of sustainable alternatives for their business, along with filling production machines and even an automatic case sealer that caused a great deal of excitement. Showing how the different packaging systems worked and explaining how they could be useful for their companies was the most requested action by visitors to the fair.

Among the machines that we took to Hispack, the most outstanding one was a automatic case sealerThe machine is ideal for the sealing of boxes with different sizes in height, width and depth. It is capable of sealing more than 500 boxes per hour, gaining in efficiency and productivity in the preparation of orders.

In addition, the visitors could also see on site 2 paper filling machines available for rent:

Programmable and easy to use. And with the possibility to choose from a wide range of paper. A sustainable alternative to plastic.

Geami WrapPak® SystemGeami WrapPak® System: a machine that uses a honeycomb paper filler in kraft where the structures are interwoven together in combination with a silk paper that avoids marks. This innovative paper eliminates tape and cuts and offers excellent cushioning and protection when wrapping individual items. A sustainable, biodegradable and recyclable alternative to bubble wrap.

But what about the news? Yes, there was a first. At the show we introduced Kraft paper strapping. Again an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional plastic strapping. Ideal for strapping light packages and short term storage. Environmentally friendly: made from 95% paper and 5% vegetable adhesive.

However, this is not the only new product we will be presenting this year. We have identified the needs of the sector and we are working on different products and services that will not go unnoticed. Don’t worry! We won’t wait until the next HISPACK to unveil them.
