Even before 1 January 2021, sending parcels to England was the same as for other EU countries. After this date, the UK left the European Union and therefore the rules for sending parcels to this country changed. Brexit changed a lot for the export and import of parcels to and from England. The new rules (e.g. regarding customs duties) extend not only to online shops and mail order wholesalers, but also to private shipments, carried by courier to the UK. Sending a parcel to the UK by Polish Post requires a few steps. First, go to the Pocztex website (pocztex.pl), selecting the UK as the shipping country in the appropriate form. Then complete the other fields in it (weight of the parcel, dimensions of the package, method of packaging, contents). Finally, click on the “Send shipment” button and pay for your order.
