RAJA is open for new things! Open for new products, open for new ways, open for new ways of thinking, open for new employees!
Social responsibility? This is nothing NEW for us, but an integral part of our company culture.
The founder of the RAJA Group, Danièle Kapel Marcovici, is committed to her personal convictions and carries these into the European-wide subsidiaries. Therefore, the same basic values are behind every commitment: it is about establishing equal opportunities for women and men, improving training conditions and opportunities for women and girls, and fighting violence against women and girls.
RAJA Women’s Award
In this spirit, the “RAJA Women’s Award” will feature a public prize draw. Non-profit organisations that support projects that benefit women can apply for this award. The winner will receive 10,000€ in prize money.
Seven finalists will be chosen from all the entries. Votes for these finalists can be cast up to a certain point in time. The winner will then be announced at a GALA event. This offers the organisations a great platform to present themselves to a broad public in order to attract more donors.
Under the following link you can find out more about the Women’s Award and the projects that have been supported so far:

Perspectives for Women
Since 2016, RAJA Germany has also been very specifically involved in empowering women in its own country as part of the “Perspectives forWomen” action programme.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers for their loyalty and participation, because it is only through their purchase of the campaign products that we have been able to donate more than 310,000 euros to our three supported associations so far.
Papatya
Papatya urgently needs the donations to be able to continue offering the online counselling service SIBEL. As long as issues such as exploitation of girls, education is reserved for boys, forced marriage or abduction continue to play a role in Germany, all courageous girls and women who stand up for their rights need a contact and uncomplicated source of help. Papatya advises, actively helps, provides opportunities to breathe and, if necessary, also accompanies them into a new life.
Horizont e.V.
The collected donations help to finance a family coach at
Horizont e.V.. The lives of more and more people, also in Germany, are coming apart at the seams due to tragic strokes of fate. Many do not make it out of the impasse on their own. Mothers often have it doubly hard here, because the children understand even less what is going on. At the Horizon House in Munich, homeless mothers find a temporary home. Family coach Mathilda also supports mothers for 8 hours a week who are overwhelmed with raising their children due to their general situation (homelessness, debts, violence, loneliness, etc.). Only when mother and children are able to overcome their problems in living together is it possible to prepare the families for an independent life.
VbFF e.V.
With the donations, the extensive training and integration programme can be expanded and continued, because the
VbFF e.V. addresses an important issue that is close to our hearts: Women in working life. RAJA itself strongly supports the re-entry of its parents, offers flexible working models and even a subsidy for day-care costs. But even today, after many years of political rethinking, the reconciliation of family and work remains difficult for many women. Especially for young mothers who have not completed their education and for single parents, this balancing act is often impossible. Here, the vbFF e.V. in Frankfurt advises and supports with language and further education courses, finds employers, etc.
